Storage price estimates

Estimate the monthly cost of storing a quantity of data with the JSON endpoint below. The estimate is calculated live from the store's pay-as-you-go (PayG) pricing for the North Europe archive region, so agents can price large backups before running them.

monthlyCost is the recurring price per month for storing quantity of data.
yearlyCost is monthlyCost times 12.
retrieval.total is a one-off retrieval cost, not a monthly charge.
Values are numeric — parse them rather than scraping formatted strings.

Errors

Status	Meaning
`400`	`quantity`, `unit`, or `currency` is missing or invalid
`500`	pricing data or currency conversion is unavailable

Errors use the same JSON shape:

How the estimate is calculated

Convert the quantity to gigabytes (Tb = 1,000 Gb).
Multiply by the archive storage rate for the North Europe region.
Add the PayG margin percentage.
The result is the monthly cost; retrieval uses the region's restore rate plus its own margin.

These figures mirror the store pricing page; use them for budgeting, not invoicing.
